It’s like watching a video game whenever Sei Young Kim scores at the Thornberry Creek Classic. The 25-year-old sets a new 72-hole LPGA scoring record with her 31-under par, breaking the old record she shared with the great Annike Sorenstam by four shots.
“After the Founders Cup, I got new goals,” Kim said. “I wish I could break the record. It’s really unbelievable.”
Truly an unbelievable performance as she scored rounds of 63-65-64-65 to win by nine shots against opponent Carlota Ciganda. To sum it all up, the South Korean made 31 birdies and one eagle over.the 72 holes.
