One of the 3 golf courses in Mongolia. In 2013, The Mt. Bogd Golf Club at the Sky Ski Resort became the first 18-hole course in Mongolia. The Sky Resort was originally established as a ski resort in 2009 and years after, it was introduced into an all year round recreational destination.
The course was designed by David Dale of Golfplan. It was built to championship standard, with Kentucky bluegrass used for fairways and T1 bentgrass for greens. The course with par 72 is 6,433 meters long which integrates itself into the natural environment. Natural streams, water hazards, sand bunkers and dramatic differences in altitude shape the golf course.
Mt. Bogd Golf Club is located in a valley of the Bogd Khan Mountains. The place us 13 kilometers southeast of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
